Because data security and privacy are central to us, we do not store any medical data on our servers. After your consultation note or letter has been processed by Cavell, the final result is removed from our servers and (encrypted) stored on your computer. Audio recordings are never stored.

As a healthcare provider subject to professional confidentiality, you do not need your patient's permission to use Cavell. However, we always recommend that you inform your patient of your use of Cavell and always follow the patient's preference regarding whether or not to use Cavell.

We have done our utmost to make Cavell as user-friendly as possible. Configuration is simple: provide an example (e.g. a blank template) of your consultation note or letter and ... done! Most users can generate their first consultation note or letter in less than 5 minutes.

No. Cavell adapts to your working style, not the other way around. Cavell learns your style using examples and templates. For example, you can give Cavell a (blank) template of a consultation letter, whereupon Cavell analyses your template and fills it in based on the context of the consultation.

No. Cavell can only be used for medical administration. Cavell is not designed to make medical interpretations, diagnose or perform other medical procedures.

Cavell works from your browser and therefore does not require installation. Create your account, log in via the browser and ... that's it!

Yes. Although we do our utmost to make Cavell as accurate as possible, errors can sometimes occur. As a healthcare provider, you always retain the final responsibility for the medical documentation that you manage. Therefore, always check the generated output for errors and/or omissions.

Yes, that is possible. For organizations we are happy to work on EHR integrations, so that your consultation notes, letters, SNOMED-CT codes, etc. are automatically synchronized with the correct patient file.

If Cavell does not integrate with your EHR, you can copy and paste the output into your EHR with two clicks.

For now, Cavell only works in Dutch. We will soon add support for French, English, German and Italian!
